Yes — provided the correct solvent is used. Real zari oxidises (turns permanently dull grey) when exposed to water or traditional perchloroethylene solvents at elevated temperatures. Our hydrocarbon solvent process is oxidation-safe and is the correct choice for real-zari Kanjivaram, Banarasi, Paithani, and Chanderi sarees. Every saree is colour-fastness tested before the full cleaning process begins — nothing proceeds without that confirmation.

Standard turnaround for bridal wear is 48 to 72 hours. Heavily embellished pieces — lehengas with dense stonework or sherwanis with complex embroidery — typically take the full 72 hours because hand-finishing cannot be compressed without risk. We do not offer same-day service on bridal garments; the solvent immersion, extraction, and finishing process has minimum safe timelines that exist specifically to protect the garment.

Both occasions matter. Heirloom pieces stored between events benefit from a professional clean and refresh before the wedding to remove storage odour and restore fabric body. After the wedding, bring all worn bridal garments in within 7 days — sweat, body oils, and food particle residue sitting in embellished fabric accelerates fibre and thread degradation significantly.
